🌿 Our Story: Breaking Free to Heal, Learn, and Thrive Through Nature and Travel

At Wandering Past Limits, our journey is deeply personal—and far from conventional. As a neurodivergent family navigating the challenges of ADHD, DMDD, and the overwhelming demands of a rigid, one-size-fits-all system, we found ourselves searching for a better way to live, learn, and grow.

Traditional schooling failed to support our son's unique needs. The constant stress, overstimulation, and lack of flexibility left our family drained and disconnected. So we made a bold decision: we stepped away from the classroom, embraced homeschooling on the road, and began a journey into the healing power of nature-based learning and therapeutic travel.

As a registered nurse (BSN), I’ve long understood the link between mental health and nature, but experiencing it firsthand changed everything. From hiking scenic trails to waking up under the stars, we discovered that outdoor living and intentional travel offered something no classroom or therapy session ever could—true balance, resilience, and joy.

Now, through Wandering Past Limits, we’re on a mission to help others experience this transformation. We provide:

  • Mental health support through nature-based practices

  • Educational resources for neurodivergent families and homeschooling travelers

  • Practical guidance for healing through outdoor adventure

  • A community for sharing stories, strength, and inspiration

Whether you’re a parent, educator, or fellow traveler seeking alternative education, mental clarity, or emotional healing, you belong here. Let us show you how to step outside the box—and into a world where nature is the classroom, movement is medicine, and growth has no limits.

➡️ Join the movement at Wandering Past Limits—where every step forward begins with stepping outside.
